Want to find all the Unique Monsters? This Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Unique Monster Location Guide will tell you where to find the Unique Monsters we’ve encountered so far, what level they are, what loot they drop and any other valuable information to help you take them down.
After you progress through the initial parts of the story you will reach the Gormott Province. This is a huge area filled with many new enemies and encounters, and it’s also where the game introduces you to Unique Monsters. These powerful enemies are unique, they have a different name and ability set to other monsters of similar nature. They can be identified by a large symbol above their level.
Whenever you see this symbol above the head of an enemy, they are a Unique Monster. Unique Monsters are much tougher than other enemies at the same level so it’s wise to prepare before you enter combat. Make sure you’ve spent any WP and SP, you and your allies are fully healed and without status ailments, and you’ve got your best gear equipped.
