One of many tasks in Yakuza 5 Remastered is collecting trash from around the city. This Yakuza 5 Garbage Collection Guide tells you the rewards for collecting the garbage around town as there’s actually two different reward types you can receive.
Early in the story for Yakuza 5 Remastered, Kiryu is asked by the taxi company he works for to help clean up the image of taxi drivers all over town. Several reports were made that taxi drivers were spotted throwing trash out the window of their taxi after a break or a snack. It’s a simple task. Pay attention to the floor as you do other missions, exploring, you’ll see small shining objects on the floor. Simply head over to pick them up with X. That’s how you collect the garbage.
Yakuza 5 Garbage Collection Guide
When you collect a certain number of garbage items, you go up a Community grade. Each grade you complete gives you rewards back at the Taxi HQ. Go inside the Taxi HQ and interact with the whiteboard on the wall. If you have picked up enough garbage, you’ll be told you’ve received a reward from the company. They can only give out a single reward at a time so make sure to check the board twice, just in case there are rewards you missed from previously leveling up. Below is a list of rewards you receive from the company.- Rubber Ball
- Hot Chilli
- Durable Cloth
- Chunk of Wood (Ash)
Once you have received all of these rewards, it means you have reached S Rank. Once you have reached S Rank, head to any M store, there’s one up the road from the Taxi HQ. You should have a text message informing you of a new reward. Speak to the Clerk at the M Store and select Accept Prizes. Here you will find your final reward, the Encounter Finder. It let’s you seek out enemies that are looking for a fight.
