Yonder The Cloud Catcher Chronicles Animals Guide – What Items To Give

Yonder The Cloud Catcher Chronicles Animals Guide
Yonder features an exciting array of farming mechanics, including the ability to adopt, raise and harvest materials from animals. This Yonder The Cloud Catcher Chronicles Animals Guide tells you where to find all of the animals and what you need to use to tame them.

Before you’re able to tame or use animals to produce materials you must first progress through the main story quests. Once you have completed the Seeking Help In Fairmont quest chain you will have the opportunity to restore a nearby farm. Once this is done you can place animal pens and other items to tame animals and have them produce materials at your farm.

Below is a list of all the animals we’ve encountered as well as all the relevant information.

There’s a few things worth noting. If an animal runs away from you it is because you do not have the item required to tame them and bring them back to the farm. Once you have the item in your inventory they will sense it and behave differently. Additionally, animals do not follow you indefinitely. After a few minutes they will attempt to leave unless you feed them their item again so pay attention and walk slowly to avoid losing the animal.

  1. Fabbits love herbs, with them you can guide them to one of your farms to adopt them. Also, the Fluff Cubs don’t react at all when I approach them with sunday roast. Does this happen to anyone else? Thanks for the nice work on Yonder so far!

    1. I’m having a problem with fluff cubs at the moment as well. I made sure I had a sunday roast in my inventory but they all run away from me despite the lady saying it is required to attract them. I really hope it isn’t a game bug since I’m so close to 100% for this game. :

        1. Cool, that explains it 🙂 Then I guess the final challenge will be the cats xD I’m currently struggling with catching all the fish as well though. I know I’m missing Fulgur- and Yang-Fish, and a third one I have no clue about (probably a Ying-Fish?). Fulgurs can be cought during storms in lakes and rivers, I know that much, however I don’t have any idea about the others.

      1. You have to plant the herb seed in a garden (that has to be build) on the farm. After a while you can harvest the herbs.
To be able to craft the garden you need to complete the Carpenter Guild Quests.
You can also get the herbs at traders.

    2. Are you trying to take them to the Radiant Sands farm? I had no problems getting them there. You might have to wait for them to show up nearby–I’ve found that they typically show up only one at a time in that specific area, if they even show up at all.

  2. The Fenicorns spawn on the side the farm is at so there should be no problem taking them up the small trail.

    1. Oh, do they? I searched the area for a while but couldn’t find them. I’ll take another look again today, thanks for the suggestion 🙂

  3. So I gave Bambex vine and it followed me into Dapplewood farm. But once I was inside the farm with Bambex the prompt to “store” the animal in one of the pen doesn’t poped out.

      1. Well it’s an empty farm. I haven’t had opportunity to fill it yet. So no it can’t possibly be full.

        1. Same thing happened to me. I just completed the story and recieved the master craftsman kit and crafted the “fancy fodder trough” and added it to my farm. It seemed to work when I went back to see if I could adopt the Bambex. I had two different empty small-sized sheds on the farm and it housed itself in the study iron shed.. or maybe it was because I crafted two feeders and not specifically the fancy fodder, who knows? *Note: I have three sheds in total on my Dapplewood farm and one was occupied by a sprig-pig

    1. Are you using the stone shelter? There is a bug with that not giving the prompt, I had the same problem earlier. Try using the wooden one.

    1. You need to complete the Carpenter guilt quest and then go for master Carpenter. You will unlock a small garden place where you can place seeds.

  4. Hey, i noticed the Girpacca info is not complete , atleast it shows on my screen. But i found out what Item they like; Hot/warm Milk.(not sure if its the right translation cause my game is in German)
