Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles Farm Rating Guide

Yonder The Cloud Catcher Chronicles Farm Rating Guide
Throughout your journey in Yonder you will unlock and own many farms. This Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles Farm Rating Guide will teach you everything you need to know to raise the rating of your farm, care for your animals and achieve maximum efficiency. The first farm you unlock in The Grasslands is a natural part of the story progression, others are more tucked away. Despite each farming being unique in location, the foundation principles of each are the same.

Depending on the farm, each begins with its own efficiency rating, represented by a percentage and overall star rating. The percentage system is 1-100% and the star rating is out of a total of five stars. There are four different categories, but only three influence the overall quality of the farm. For more information on staff check out our Farmhands Guide. The other three areas you will need to improve are Animal Care, Farm Cleanliness and Value Produced. Each point is covered in detail below.

How To Increase Animal Care
Animal Care represents the level of care and facilities available to the animals on your farm. You can raise Animal Care by small amounts when you visit, interacting with the animals using the Care option – also it only goes up by 1-2% and can be used a limited number of times. The main bulk of the rating with Animal Care is food and water. In order to maintain a high level of Animal Care, you need 1 Fodder Trough and 1 Water Trough for every 2 animals. For maximum Animal Care, have it on a 1/1 ratio. 5 Stars and 25% is the highest you can reach for Animal Care.

How To Increase Farm Cleanliness
Farm Cleanliness is the easiest to maintain. On occasion your animals will defecate around your farm. This needs to be cleaned. You can either do it yourself or hire a Farmhand that looks after it for you. Either way it’s very difficult to fail at keeping your farm clean, just check for poo every time you visit. That should keep Farm Cleanliness at its maximum of 5 Stars and 25%.

How To Increase Value Produced
Value Produced is the value of the items you have placed on your land. Typically, this is nearly impossible to raise when farming with livestock as the return on investment is slim to none. Value Produced is not an important stat, the farm works with or without a high level of it. However, if you want a specific farm to have a high Value Produced rating, focus on creating Garden Plots and fill them with Seeds. This should get the rating to 100% in just a few days.
