Zombie Army 4 Upgrade Kit Location Guide

Upgrade Kit 1
After talking with the doctor you will go into a hallway that has a boarded off doorway. Bust the boards down with your melee and the upgrade hit is inside. If you are playing co-op, all players need to grab it.

Upgrade Kit 2
After you finish up chapter one, there is a kit near the upgrade lady.

Upgrade Kit 3
After getting the second upgrade kit, take the stairs down to a shooting mini game. Clear all six rounds and your reward will be another upgrade kit.

Upgrade Kit 4
You can find this one when you are introduced to the suicide zombies. On the right side of the area there are some stairs that lead up to an open container. Inside of that container you can find the upgrade.

Upgrade Kit 5
The last upgrade kit of this level is found near where the shack with the safe is. Go up the stairs and head to the other side of the area. You will see another another shack down some steps there. Go down the steps, then around the steps to find the last upgrade kit.

Upgrade Kit 1
You can find this upgrade kit while you are still using the boat. Near the end of the chapter, you will have to disembark and lift up a bridge. Right before the wooden bridge, there is a set of white steps that leads up to a open doorway. The upgrade kit is inside of that room. The stairs are near on of the spinning noise making traps.

Upgrade Kit 2
From the safe house in Ghosts and Gondolas, head left and follow the area around until you see some steps that lead into the water. Go into the water and take the other steps up to find your upgrade kit.

Upgrade Kit 3
From the safe room in The Shadows of Venice, go right and across the small bridge. Go into the nearby building on the left with the red awning and inside you will find the upgrade kit.

Upgrade Kit 4
The last one is found in the Gates of Hell. Do the first generator part and two doors will open. Enter the left door and take the steps down into the basement area but don’t leave. There is an open door down there with a barrel inside, your upgrade kit is there.

Upgrade Kit 1
The first upgrade kit can be found while you are refueling the objective canister. Near one of these refueling points, there is a open train car in the distance. Go into that train car and you can find the upgrade kit.

Upgrade Kit 2
You can find this kit during the Into Darkness chapter. After you turn the power on, some flamethrower zombies appear. Head up into the armory, and on the shelf in the room attached to the shooting range, you will find the kit.

Upgrade Kit 3
The next kit is found in Supernatural Superweapon chapter. Drop down to the lower floor in the room with the missile and the Tesla coils. In the office, near one of the firing mechanisms, you can find the next upgrade kit.

Upgrade Kit 4
The last kit is in the fourth chapter. When you leave the the safe house, go forward and cross under the bridge on the left. On the other side, on a crate under the bridge, you can find the last upgrade kit.

Upgrade Kit 1
This is in the first chapter of the Zoo level. When you get to the breaker box section, you will have to head through some animal cages for one. Through the first set of cages there will be a locked door. Interact with the door and inside you find your kit.

Upgrade Kit 2
This is found in the second chapter Welcome to the Jungle. In the area with the second screamer, you can enter a bunker. Go inside and the upgrade is found there.

Upgrade Kit 3
In order to get this kit, you need to do the heroic save mission in chapter 3 here. You need keep the sniper NPC alive in the aquarium while the horde attacks. It is a tense fight, but focus on protecting him and it is possible.

Upgrade Kit 4
The last kit is found right before you enter the Planetarium. To the left of the doors to the Planetarium, the kit is on a bench.

Upgrade Kit 1
On the way to the resistance camp you will find yourself on a road. Take that road to the end and there is a small house. A zombie breaks out of that house and the kit is inside.

Upgrade Kit 2
The next two are found in the Village of Darkness chapter. When you enter the village, there is a tower you can climb with a survivor at the top. You need to keep him alive and clear out the zombie horde for the safe to open. Inside the safe if your first upgrade kit.

Upgrade Kit 3
After you clear the zombie horde, don’t enter the safe room. Go to the safe room and then follow the road to the right. In the first house there is an upstairs section, your kit is there.

Upgrade Kit 4
This one is found during the chapter Communication Breakdown. Work your way to realign the satellite dish and don’t start it yet. Go through the water and follow the path to a barn. In the barn you will find the kit.

Upgrade Kit 5
The last one is found during The Best Laid Plans chapter. Run through the tunnels until you face a buzzsaw zombie. Kill it, and continue through the tunnels. Before hitting the next objective the kit can be found on a barrel.

Upgrade Kit 1
During the first chapter you will have to fight your way to a courtyard with a generator in it. In this area, there is an ally troop on the second floor of the area. Inside the room behind him you will find the kit.

Upgrade Kit 2
The next kit is found during the Hot on the Trail chapter. When you get to the docks, you will have to clear out some zombies. Don’t go on the boat after you kill them all. Instead look in a stall with a blue plaque and a light on. Inside there you will find the kit.

Upgrade Kit 3
The next one is found during A Night On The Town chapter. When you get to the graveyard, look for an open crypt on the right. Go inside and you can find the kit there.

Upgrade Kit 4
The last one is found during The Final Hell Tower chapter. After you defeat the first wave of zombies, one of the doors to the second level will open up. Go upstairs and follow the path until armor zombies break down a door. Inside the room they come from you will find the kit.

Upgrade Kit 1
During the first chapter of All Roads Lead To Hell, you can find this kit. Work your way through the cave until you find the explosives detonator shack. Behind that shack there is a cave and inside you can find the kit.

Upgrade Kit 2
The next one is found in chapter two of this level. Go down through the tunnels until you can go right, left, or straight. Take the fight tunnel and run through the water. At the end you will find the upgrade kit.

Upgrade Kit 3
The third kit is found in the third chapter of this level. Make your way to the end of the chapter and do not enter the safe house. Instead, run up the stairs towards the safe house but take the wooden bridge. On the other side of the bridge you will find the kit.

Upgrade Kit 4
Last kit for the level is found in the last chapter. Go down into the courtyard area and clear out all the waves of zombies. Don’t progress to the boss room quite yet. There is a open arch near where you killed all the zombies and your kit is in there.

Upgrade Kit 1
During the first chapter of this mission you have a Heroic save and a upgrade kit. You have to save the guy right after the blood fountain. Go to the cliff edge and look down towards the bridge to see him. After you save him, keep going until you have to clear the drain. Follow the path all the way around the and survivor will unlock a door for you, inside is your kit.

Upgrade Kit 2
Next one is found in the War Machines chapter. On your way to the first blood seal, one of the buzzsaw guys will pop out of a door. Clear the enemies and enter the door to find your upgrade kit.

Upgrade Kit 3
The third kit is found in the Let’s get out of here chapter. After you defend the elevator, there will be two doors that zombies broke down. Check those doors before taking the elevator to find the kit.

Upgrade Kit 4
The last one is found during the Steal The Relic chapter. After you come out of the safe room, head past the relic towards the machines in the next room. Look to the right and you can see the kit in a dark corner.
