『UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes』Open Beta Moved to November 16

The Open Beta for Arc System Works’ 『UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes』has been moved to November 16.

The beta test will now be held from November 16 at 5pm PT to November 19 at 11pm PM PT.

The Open Beta will be released for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. During this period, modes available include Casual Match (Network), Character Select (Network), Vs Player, Vs CPU, Watch, and Free Training. Note that saved data created for the beta test cannot be transferred to the full release coming next year.

Serving as a final chapter of the series, 『UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes』will feature new moves for all characters and rollback netcode with Casual Match support.

The full release of『UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes』 will release on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam January 25. Supported languages include Japanese, English, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. Note that the title will feature DLC characters in Season Passes.

The previous entry, Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r], reviewed well from us when it was released in 2020. We gave it an 85/100 and said that “…Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] features all the greatest parts of the fighting game genre.”
