13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Arriving Stateside September 8

Announced during today’s IGN Summer of Gaming showcase, Atlus and Vanillaware’s 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim will make its way to the PlayStation 4 stateside on September 8, 2020.

A sci-fi mystery epic that spans thirteen intertwining stories, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim has players uncovering the truth through visions of both the past and the future. The title blends 2D side-scrolling action with top-down combat, all wrapped up in a hand-painted visual style. Players will also be able to customize their Sentinels with a myriad of mechsuit weaponry.

All those who pre-order the title at physical retailers (starting today) can get themselves an exclusive artbook, one that features Vanillaware’s painterly illustrations. For digital pre-orders on the PlayStation Store, a digital artbook will also be available at a later date. The launch edition of the title will retail for $59.99.
