Action-Adventure RPG Aethyr Announced

Aethyr - Gamers Heroes
Labyrinth and Asarge have announced the first details of their action-adventure RPG Aethyr.

Designed to evoke “a sense of creativity, exploration, challenge, and immersiveness,” Aethyr features a world that has been ruined by an arcane apocalypse. Players will take control of a hero that will dive head-first into forlorn temples that were built to honor eldritch gods.

Players will be able to customize the hero to their liking, with 100 different abilities that are each governed by one of 21 different skills. A number of cryptic scrolls, rare weapons, pieces of exotic armor, and mystical consumables can be scavenged, and combat places an emphasis on critical decision making. Players will also be able to gather resources to craft armor, weapons, and potions.

For those with a creative side, the game has been designed around modding. The ability to create new weapons, enemies, worlds, and more will be included.
