AK-Xolotl Gets A Release Date At Gamescom

During Gamescom 2023, Ak-Xolotl got an official release date and a new trailer. You’ll be slaying enemies with your Xolotl much sooner than you might have thought.

AK-Xolotl Gets A Release Date At Gamescom

The trailer they showed at Gamescom is pretty much chaos. AK-Xolotl is a top-down roguelike similar to Enter the Gungeon or Binding of Issac, meaning a lot is going on. You’ll need some quick reactions, or you will die repeatedly.

The trailer also shows how you can raise some Xolotl with different foods and outfits. I assume that once you die, you use one of the new Xolotl you’ve raised. There also seemed to be some sort of sacrifice mechanic, but we didn’t get to see the end of the ritual.

While it is facing an uphill battle, launching right after Starfield and Baldur’s Gate, AK-Colotl did win runner-up to the “most entertaining game” of the show, which is impressive.

Here is the newest trailer if you want to check that out.

The release date for AK-Xolotl is September 14th
