Capcom’s Resident Evil Resistance will have Alex Wesker and Ozwell E. Spencer join its ranks when it comes out this April.
Originally appearing in Resident Evil Revelations 2, Alex Wesker uses indirect means to achieve her goals. Her playstyle puts an emphasis on traps and manipulating the map to slow down Survivors with enhanced zombies and different roadblocks. She can also call on the support of the vicious carnivorous plant Yateveo.
Ozwell E. Spencer is one of Umbrella’s founders, and uses a more hands-on approach in battle. He has the ability to summon controllable bioweapons, and can generate a Disintegration Field that severely damages any Survivors that fall for it.
Also announced today are the Casino and Abandoned Park maps, which feature slot machines, chips, zombies, and bioweapons.
Resident Evil Resistance will be released with Resident Evil 3 when it comes out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3, 2020.
