Animated Visual Novel Still Joking Launching Next Year

Led by a tight-knit international team, Purple Brick Games’ new animated visual novel Still Joking will transport players to a world of mirror reflections.

A story of a reflection, Still Joking tasks players with investigating their own “prototype” murder. This prototype is the person they reflect, which in the case of Iris was a famous actress. In this new world, Iris now has to live apart from this original version of herself, with players tasked with making decisions that will shape both her adventure and her journey for the truth.

Along the way, players will navigate a world similar but separated from our own through a pane of glass. However, players best be careful as they travel through the void; one’s actions are reflected in how other characters interact with Iris.

Along the way, players will complete tasks for different factions, impress their curator, and try to understand the nature of the mysterious cracks of its world. Players can also have some fun; one can also accept a cheese roll from the Chosen One (yes, really!) and can even hit the bottle and get drunk.
