Assassin’s Creed Mirage Now Available
The newest installment in the 200 million unit-selling Assassin’s Creed franchise, Ubisoft Bordeaux’s Assassin’s Creed Mirage is now available.
In this title, players will step into the shoes of the young thief Basim Ibn Is’haq in ninth-century Baghdad, who hides a mysterious past. He finds himself entrenched within the Hidden Ones on a quest for answers, giving players the chance to follow his transformation to a Master Assassin.
The development team behind Assassin’s Creed Mirage set out to depict this pivotal moment in history through historical accuracy, cultural aspects, and religious aspects. The title also features a full Arabic localization.
The team behind this title also strove for accessibility.
According to Antony Marques, UX designer at Ubisoft Bordeaux:
“Our philosophy was to create a game that goes back to its roots while retaining the modern accessibility options and feedback elements found in later Assassin’s Creed titles, like Valhalla. To achieve this, we collaborated with teams in Montreal, Kyiv, Odesa, and Bordeaux. For the new core gameplay, the focus was to design with accessibility in mind, seamlessly incorporating it into the gameplay itself rather than relying solely on options.”Antony Marques
