Learn more about the battle system coming to GUST and Koei Tecmo’s Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream.
The dream-like world of Erde Wiege pays host to a number of monsters that the titular Sophie will have to fight. All battles will begin instantly, all without any load times or separate screens. To speed things along, up to six party members can join forces for “multi-linked turn-based battles,” split up into two teams.
Just be warned though; select monsters have an aura around them that make it more difficult to inflict damage. To remedy this, players must attack the monster’s aura with the element that they are weak against.

The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on February 25, 2022. Those that digitally pre-order the title can get themselves access to the “Easy Breezy” costume for Sophie.
