Back 4 Blood Gameplay Showcase Now Available on Demand

For those that missed today’s gameplay showcase for WB Games and Turtle Rock Studios’ Back 4 Blood, never fear – the event can now be watched on demand.

To get players acquainted, the development team showcased an extended gameplay demo of this upcoming first-person cooperative zombie shooter. The team also spoke about the vision behind the game, along with what players can expect from the Closed PC Alpha Test that is open from now through December 21.

You can watch the video on demand (via Twitch) here.

Taking place after a catastrophic outbreak, the story of Back 4 Blood throws players into a world where most of humanity has been murdered or infected by the parasitic Devil Worm. Despite this doom and gloom, a group of apocalypse vets that call themselves the Cleaners are taking on the infected horrors (dubbed the Ridden) and reclaiming the world.

Included in this title is a four-player cooperative story campaign that puts the Cleaners up against the Ridden, working together as a team to survive increasingly challenging missions. Drop-in and drop-out co-op will be included, and players can also fly solo with three AI teammates in the campaign portion of the title. Back 4 Blood will also feature PvP competitive multiplayer that supports up to eight players, which will have teams taking turns playing as both the Cleaners and the Ridden.

The final release will come out on June 22, 2021 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC.
