Baiken Coming to Guilty Gear -Strive- January 2022

The next character making their way to Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear -Strive- is the legendary samurai Baiken.

After her home was raided by Gears during the Crusades, she swears revenge on That Man to exact revenge. She has high defensive options, the Okizeme projectile, strong meter use, and good counterpokes. However, she must make risky callouts against jumps and backdashes, is easy to burst, and requires specific conditions for pokes to be rewarding.

With her inclusion, the total roster of the title is up to 19 characters. Previous characters include Jack-O’ Valentine, Happy Chaos, and Goldlewis Dickinson.
