Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch #5 Now Available

Patch #5 for Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3 is now available, bringing with it new Epilogue gameplay and additional game modes.

Providing closure to the title, Patch #5 brings with it a new section post-game after the defeat of the Netherbrain. In addition, new playmodes include both Honour Mode and Custom Mode.

Performance improvements have also been made; players will notice this especially in Act III, and those with low VRAM/RAM should be able to see improved performance.

The full patch notes can be found on the official Baldur’s Gate 3 website.

New to Baldur’s Gate 3? This RPG lets players choose from 12 classes and 11 races as they travel the open world of the Forgotten Realms. The title is a meaty one as well, lasting well over 80 hours in all depending on one’s decisions throughout the game.

We had nothing but great things to say in our Baldur’s Gate 3 review from earlier this year:

Baldur’s Gate 3 is nothing short of a masterpiece. The story is incredible, the world gorgeous and immersive, voice-over and writing of the highest quality, an amazing soundtrack, everything comes together in near perfect harmony. It’s not only the best RPG of the year, it’s the RPG of a generation.Baldur’s Gate 3 Review, Blaine Smith
