Barotrauma Among the Ancients Update Now Available

An ever-evolving sci-fi submarine survival sim, the Among the Ancients update for FakeFish, Undertow Games, and Daedalic Entertainment’s Barotrauma is now available.

This update was designed to make its characters more diverse. Hair styles, facial features, accessories and skin tone can all be changed, while character animations and proportions have been made more realistic (though still packing a ragdoll nature).

This beauty isn’t just skin deep; a number of tweaks have been made to the inner nature of each character as well. Its new talent system allows for specific buffs and talents among each class, each of which can be unlocked with XP.

Finally, alien ruins have been redesigned, featuring a more distinct and creepy look. The Fractural Guardian has a new look and behavior, while the new Swarm Feeder is looking for blood and the Gravity Sphere and Ruin Vent adds new effects.
