The Birdman Tony Hawk has some new competition, as Glass Bottom Games has announced that SkateBIRD is in development.
A skateboarding game featuring a bird, SkateBIRD will allow players to grind, kickflip, and carve lines through objects like bendy straws, staplers, cardboard and sticky tape parks. The title will feature simple controls, ones that use buttons rather than stick gestures. Each world features a number of different objectives, challenges, and “secret tapes,” and players can amass a devout following on “Tweeter.”
