The Arcade Crew and Joymasher have released a behind-the-scenes video for their upcoming run-and-gun Blazing Chrome.
In the video, which can be seen below, the development due of Danilo Dias and Thais Weller take a look at the inspirations behind their homage to shooters from a different time (including Gun Force 2). They also talk about the delicate work-life balance they maintain as independent games developers. Design inspirations were also drawn from properties like Mad Max, Terminator, Mad Max and more.
Blazing Chrome – Dev Diary #1: The graphics
Coming out in 2019, Blazing Chrome’s side-scrolling action features a world where militant AI-fueled computers rule the Earth. Though humans lack any short of prestige or power, the human resistance soldier Mavra (and the insurgent robot Doyle) are ready to fight back.
