Angry Cat Studios & Firesquid today announced an exciting new update for the squads tactics title, USC: Counterforce, which sees a brand new game mode added to the game, alongside a discount to celebrate Steam’s Strategy Fest. Originally released under the Steam Early Access umbrella in July 2023, USC: Counterforce will be available to download at a discounted price for the duration of the Steam Strategy Fest, running from August 28th to September 4th.
Brand New Game Mode & Price Drop For USC: Counterforce
USC: Counterforce’s brand new game mode, Defend the Base, expands on an already impressive list of activities as players look to defend and maintain a functional outpost, combining the turn-based tactical defense of the game with the base management features of a simulation-type title.
Other new features also arrive with this latest update including Prototype Weapons, new weapons with enhanced properties that can be upgraded using Squad Points and crafting materials. The full list of patch notes can be found here.
