A direct sequel to the 2019 reboot, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is the nineteenth installment in the Call of Duty series. Multiplayer modes in this release include Team Deathmatch, Free-for-all, Search & Destroy, and Domination. New to this release are advanced AI systems in the campaign and co-op modes, water physics and swimming mechanics, and an overhauled vehicle system.
The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 28. Note that those that pre-order the game digitally on PlayStation systems can get themselves the exclusive Oni operator pack, which will be exclusive until October 27, 2023.
