Call of Duty: WWII Coming to PlayStation Plus in June
In a Tweet released by the official PlayStation Twitter account, the first free PlayStation Plus game for the month of June will be Call of Duty: WWII.
Developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision, Call of Duty: WWII takes place in the European theatre. The game follows a squad in the 1st Infantry Division, and follows their battles on the Western Front. Players will take control of Ronald “Red” Daniels, and his squadmates can help him while out on the battlefield with grenades, health, and ammo.
Gameplay-wise, the development team stated that they wanted to create an original “boots on the ground” style of gameplay. There is no health regeneration, though there is a “hit-the-deck” mechanic.
