Capcom Producing 3D Special “Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild”

Capcom and Pure Imagination Studios are working together to create a computer graphics animated special that will expand upon the universe of Monster Hunter.

Titled “Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild,” this 3D animated special tells of a brave young man who is determined to prove himself as a monster hunter worthy of recognition. He soon discovers that his remote village lies in the path of an Elder Dragon—a veritable force of nature.

Written by Joshua Fine (known for his work on “Ultimate Spider-Man”) production will be completed this Winter, and is expected to premiere globally in 2019.
