Known for their work on True Detective and Mr. Robot, Anonymous Content is working directly with CD PROJEKT RED on a live-action project based around the world of Cyberpunk 2077.
Anonymous Content Studios’ Head of Television Garret Kemble, Director of Development Ryan Schwartz, and Chief Creative Officer David Levine will be working together as part of this collaboration.
This new project is currently at an early development stage. The group is currently searching for a screenwriter to tell a brand-new story in the Cyberpunk 2077 world. Working closely with the Cyberpunk 2077 creative team, more information will be released as the project progresses.
Previous media projects around Cyberpunk 2077 include the Netflix anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, which was created in collaboration with Studio Trigger (Kill la Kill). This project went on to win several major awards, including Anime of the Year from IGN and Crunchyroll.
Other projects include the 2023 novel Cyberpunk 2077: NO_COINCIDENCE, which was written by best-selling sci-fi author Rafal Kosik. The board game Gangs of Night City is currently in production by board game publisher CMON.
