Crates to Leave Rocket League Later This Year

Psyonix Games announced that all paid and randomized Crates will be removed from Rocket League later this year.

This decision was made by the Psyonix team in their pursuit in creating the best possible experience for their players. This mechanic will be replaced by a system that shows players the exact items they are buying in advance.

The team added that DLC Cars, Rocket Pass Premium, and Esports Shop items will continue to be offered for direct purchase alongside this new system.

Timelines and roll-out specifics will be unveiled in the coming months.
