Ahead of its launch next month, Square Enix has released the launch trailer for CRISIS CORE –FINAL FANTASY VII– REUNION.
Originally released for the PlayStation Portable, CRISIS CORE –FINAL FANTASY VII– REUNION follows SOLDIER Zack Fair as he sets out to find the missing SOLDIER Genesis Rhapsodos. The title follows the war between the megacorporation Shinra and the people of Wutai, ending right before Final Fantasy VII starts.
The title uses a real-time combat system that has Zack moving around, initiating attacks, special abilities and spells, using items, and blocking or dodging attacks. The “Digital Mind Wave” (DMW) system also comes into play, utilizing Soldier Points.

The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on December 13.
