In a statement made by Adam Badowski and Marcin Iwinski, CD PROJEKT RED’s upcoming title Cyberpunk 2077 has been pushed to December 10, 2020.
The post, which can be seen below, stated that the delay is due to the challenge of shipping on current-gen, next-gen, and PC at the same time. With everybody working from home, they need to make sure that everything works well and that every version runs smoothly.
The statement added that though the title went gold master some time ago, the development team wants to raise the quality bar. These improvements will then be released as a Day 0 patch.
