A new revision of DariusBurst AC, DariusBurst: Another Chronicle EX+ by TAITO, ININ Games, and Pyramid Inc. is coming out for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on June 11, 2021.
Released 10 years after the original version, this title includes the features of “Another Chronicle EX” alongside a replay mode and new missions. Local co-op for up to 4 players is included, along with more than 40 gigantic battleships and the Silver-Hawk Murakumo in all modes. To add to its replayability, the title will also feature branching stages and four different game modes, alongside exclusive scenarios.
The display utilizes a ultra-broad, which is closely modelled after the dual-display of the arcade version. TAITO’s in-house sound team Zuntata was brought on board to compose its soundtrack. Players will also make use of its Burst Beam to destroy the evil Belsar Forces along the way.
