Red Hook Studios announced today that Darkest Dungeon 2 is now in development.
According to an interview the development team did with PC Gamer, Darkest Dungeon 2 will have its own creative and thematic identity. The combat system from the original will make its return, but it will receive a tune-up both mechanically and in terms of presentation. The title will feature a completely different metagame structure.
The teaser trailer, which can be seen below, gives players a glimpse of the supernatural apocalypse that is distorting the world beyond the estate.
