Return to the island of Palanai in the Banoi archipelago in the highly anticipated addition to the Dead Island franchise from Deep Silver, Dead Island Riptide. Our heroes managed to escape the horrors of the previous outbreak thanks to a helicopter ride to a military ship offshore, however it doesn’t last long.
A deadly storm hits the ship and an unknown virus begins to grip the crew one by one, hurtling our heroes back into the undead nightmare.
Enjoy the return of iconic characters from the original Dead Island as well as a new face in the form of John Morgan. A master in hand-to-hand combat John spent his time aboard the military vessel providing sustenance for the crew; providing evidence that he’ll be just as lethal with a frying pan as he is with his fists.

Dead Island Riptide DLC And Pre-Order Incentives Revealed
Deep Silver, developers of the upcoming zombie title Dead Island Riptide, have just announced the contents of 2 special pre-order packs that are now available. The Survivor Pack and Fashion Victim DLC’s will bring a host of new content and items for Dead Island fans and will be available across all the major platforms including Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
The Survivor Pack
The Survivor Pack will be available as DLC content once the game has launched in April, but fans that pre-order Dead Island Riptide will get the pack for free.
Fashion Victim
If you’re going to explore a luscious, tropical island while slaughtering endless waves of the undead; you want to look good right? Well the Fashion Victim DLC provides new skins for all of the player characters in the game including Logan, Purna, Sam B, Xian Mei and John Morgan. Sadly however, the Fashion Victim DLC is only available as a pre-order incentive through GAME.
Each pack will become available as individual DLC come launch day. The Survivor Pack will set you back 400 MS points, £3.99 on PSN and £3.99 on Steam. The Fashion Pack will be a little cheaper at 160 MS points or £1.49 on PSN and Steam.
