Dead Space Remake Announced

Announced at EA Play Live 2021, the sci-fi survival horror classic Dead Space will make its return through the work of Motive Studios.

In this third-person shooter, players will take control of everyman engineer Isaac Clarke as he boards the USG Ishimura. Originally sent to repair this sprawling starship, he soon realizes that the crew has been slaughtered and an alien scourge – known as “necromorphs” – lies in the shadows. Isaac also comes to learn that his partner is lost somewhere on board, and he must set out to find her.

A remake of the original 2008 release, this title will improve its visual fidelity and make a number of improvements to its gameplay, all while staying true to the original formula. The original game tasked players with exploring different areas, solving environmental puzzles, and finding ammunition and equipment to survive.
