Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles Coming to Nintendo Switch June 10

The official game of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime, CyberConnect 2 and SEGA’s Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles will make its way to the Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe on June 10.

Much like the popular anime series, players will follow the story of Tanjiro Kamado as he sets out to become a Demon Slayer and turn his sister Nezuko from a demon back into a human. To add an air of authenticity, the original English and Japanese voice casts of the anime will make their return.

The title was previously released for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. You can read our review of the PlayStation 5 version here – we gave it a score of 80/100 and said that “Fans of the Demon Slayer anime – or fighting games in general – will be happy with this pickup.”

Note that a physical Launch Edition is also now available to pre-order. This version features the full game, along with one Kimetsu Academy Character Unlock Key for Tanjiro Kamado.
