Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer Coming May 11

Players will be able to stop the Vex and save the Last City from endless night when Destiny 2’s Season of the Splicer comes out on May 11, 2021.

The newest season for Destiny 2, Season of the Splicer will have players returning to the Vault of Glass raid from the original Destiny title. A number of quality-of-life changes have been included to make VoG feel more in line with today’s player expectations. New challenges and triumphs – along with old favorites – will be available as well.

Guardians must team up the Kell of the House of Light Mithrax, who will teach the ways of a Sacred Splicer. Along the way, players will be able to hack the Vex Network via the new six-player seasonal matchmade Override activity, and can also earn new gear.

Note that Season Pass owners can get immediate access to Season-specific Universal Ornaments, the Exotic Stasis Sidearm Cryosthesia 77K, and XP boosts that speed up Seasonal rank gains and unlocks.
