Diablo IV Announced

During BlizzCon today, Blizzard Entertainment announced that the action-RPG Diablo IV is now in development.

Set many years after the events of Diablo III, Diablo IV is set in a time when millions have been slaughtered by the actions of both the High Heavens and Burning Hells. Lilith has returned to Sanctuary after spending eons in exile, summoned forth by a dark ritual.

Playable characters include The Barbarian that packs unparalleled strength and an arsenal of weapons, the Sorceress that can shape the elements to her desire, and the Druid that commands the power of the earth and that shapeshifts into a bear and werewolf.

The title will feature randomized dungeons in the dynamic open world of Sanctuary, along with endless demons ripe for the slaughter. True to the series, there will also be deep customization through Skill Points, Runes, Talents, and Legendary Loot.
