Digimon Survive Delayed to 2021

Due to the effects of current world events, Bandai Namco’s Digimon Survive has been delayed to 2021.

Kazumasa Habu, producer of Digimon Survive, stated that they originally planned to release the title in 2020. However, their development timing has shifted due to the recent events that have happened worldwide. Despite this, he thanks everybody for their continued patience as they work to create a fun and engaging tactical RPG.

You can find the full statement below:

A survival strategy RPG, Digimon Survive has players influencing the direction of the story and the Digimon’s digivolution process. The game celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the Digimon anime, and is set in a mysterious world with character designs by Uichi Ukumo and music by Tomoki Miyoshi. Characters can be killed off, and gameplay is divided up into “Drama Parts,” “Search Action,” “Free Action,” and “Free Battle.”
