Bethesda today announced that Dishonored 2’s first free content update will be arriving next week, Monday December 19th, and will introduce a New Game Plus option on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC – a PC beta of the option is available today.
The New Game Plus option adds to the already huge list of creative methods to solve the games various puzzles and dispatch of enemies. The new game mode will allow players to Empress Emily Kaldwin’s abilities with Royal Protector Corvo Attano’s special abilities to create custom strings of multiple powers. New Game Plus allows players to begin a new experience as either character with complete access to both sets of abilities from each hero alongside all the Runes and Bonecharms collected during previous playthroughs.
A following update arriving in January will offer further content including Mission Select and Custom Difficulty settings.
