DOOM Eternal’s Demon Design Detailed in New Video


DOOM Eternal Game Director Hugo Martin recently sat down with Noclip to go over the design of the title’s new and classic demons.

A number of demon fan favorites from 1994’s Doom 2: Hell on Earth will make their return, while others will feature brand new designs. Along the way, players will contend with the Pain Elemental, the Arachnotron, the Archvile, Hellified Soldiers, Whiplash, Carcass, and a bevvy of other threats.

Designing DOOM Eternal’s New & Classic Demons

Developed by id Software and published by Bethesda Softworks, DOOM Eternal will pay host to additional upgrade resources including Sentinel Crystals, high-difficulty Slayer Challenges and the ability to take control of select enemy units. The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on March 20, 2020. The game will also launch for the Nintendo Switch later in 2020.
