Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Free Update Now Available

A new free update for Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is now available, bringing with it new content, costumes, and accessories.

A new 3-on-3 multiplayer battle mode, Cross Versus has two teams of three players working together to get the edge against one another.

The first phase has teams placed in separate arenas, acquiring as much power as possible. After reaching a certain threshold of power, the Boss Area opens up, giving players the chance to overcome the Boss. The ultimate goal is to collect the maximum number of mission points or defeat the Boss in their area before the opposing team takes down the one in their area.

Also making an appearance as part of this Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 update is the Festival of Universes. This temporary in-game event has players choosing their faction and earning points to climb individual leaderboards. Those that help their faction win can earn rewards, each of which is based on their faction and leaderboard ranking.

Note that points can be earned through normal play, with some modes occasionally receiving bonuses.
