Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake Announced


Everything old is new again with Square Enix’s Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake.

Developed by AMATA K.K. (Last Labyrinth) and Team Asano (Bravely Default 2), Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is a remake of Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation. The original title features the hero Erdrick, who sets out to save the world from the Demon Lord Baramos.

The original title was localized for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991, and saw a remake for the Super Famicom in 1996. It was also released for the Nintendo Game Boy Color, the Nintendo Wii, Android and iOS devices, and other platforms.

The release date and platforms it will be on are still to be determined. The title will see a simultaneous release on home consoles worldwide.
