Dragon’s Dogma II Announced

Announced during today’s “10 Years of Dragon’s Dogma” event, Capcom announced today that Dragon’s Dogma II is now in development.

Developed using Capcom’s RE ENGINE, Dragon’s Dogma Director Hideaki Itsuno recounted in the video below how classic pen-and-paper RPGS introduced him to high fantasy. He began work on Dragon’s Dogma after development of Devil May Cry 3 and Devil May Cry 4, stating that the development team’s trips to the United Kingdom and its rolling hills and architectural identity helped inspire Dragon’s Dogma.

Itsuno is joined by Daigo Ikeno and Kenichi Suzuki, all of which are hard at work creating the sequel. More details will be shared in the future.
