According to MUMO Studios:

“While we were doing a final polish of the beta build, we found a critical server issue that can affect the core gameplay of DUBIUM. The developers have tried fixing this issue in time for the original beta start date of December 15th, but as the deadline approached we realized that it would require more time to fix the issues for the best beta gameplay experience. Unfortunately, this means we have made the difficult decision to delay the beta test by a couple of days. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. It is quite frustrating for an indie developer like us to deliver this sad news but please hang in there and wait just a little bit longer! We’re confident you’ll enjoy what DUBIUM has to offer. Thank you for your understanding and patience while we work hard to bring you a better version of DUBIUM so that you can enjoy the experience as intended.MUMO Studios

The final release will come out in 2022 – in the meantime, you can wishlist it on Steam here.
