Nintendo has given a lot of love to its properties, but one series consistently left by the wayside is Duck Hunt. Those with an itchy trigger finger best keep waiting, but that doesn’t mean the NES classic has been left unforgotten. One fan has brought the classic back to life — and on a pinball table to boot!
YouTuber Kevin “TheBasicMan” Kulek made a custom Duck Hunt pinball machine from the remains of an old 1962 Williams Valiant cabinet. One part electromechanical wonder, one part PC, this representation offers more than just an analog experience. Much like the pinball classic Attack from Mars, your skill on the table directly affects what is happening on-screen, sound effects and all.
And yes, you can finally shoot the dog.
