Enshrouded Launching in Early Access January 24

The first self-published title for the studio, Keen Games will release their survival ARPG Enshrouded in Early Access on January 24.

First revealed this past May, Enshrouded was able to secure the “Most Played Demo,” “Most Wishlisted,” and “Most Daily Active Users” at the end of this year’s Steam Next Fest.

Utilizing their previous title Portal Knights as a spiritual foundation, the team also took inspiration from other survival titles Valheim, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The ultimate goal for the team was to create a more welcoming entry to the survival genre, leaving more room for fun either alone or with friends.

Along the way, players will be able to traverse through forests, caves, and dungeons as they seek out secret knowledge and treasure. In order to survive, players can duck, parry, and surprise foes with unexpected fighting skills and powerful spells.
