Expeditions Vikings is right around the corner and with that the developers have released a new video showing them playing a tiny bit of the game. This one focuses on a skirmish with a larger force. Check out the developer playthrough here.
Expeditions Viking Dev Playthrough Released
Here is the Dev playthrough.They start off telling you that are tasked with capturing a town. As they approach the town, you can see it is heavily fortified and protected by quite a few troops. After they get in, the battle starts and you get to how the combat is done. It is a tactical combat style, your team goes and then the enemy team goes and you can only move so far. There are also various elements you can use to your advantage such as ice and fire. You have to be careful though, you can block yourself into a corner with fire and then you won’t be able to get out. While the battle does’t quite go the way the developer wants, it still did a good job of showing off how the combat works in Expedition Vikings.
Expedition Vikings launches on Steam on April 27th.
