Fan-Favorite Cecil Stedman Joining Invincible VS’ Roster

Just in time for New York Comic-Con 2025, Skybound Entertainment’s in-house studio Quarter Up announced that fan-favorite intelligence agent Cecil Stedman will join the ranks of Invincible VS’ roster.

As one of the most requested characters to Invincible VS, Cecil Stedman can most often be heard as a voice in Mark’s earpiece in the series proper.

When it comes to Invincible VS, Cecil Stedman packs specialized weapons that favor a ranged gameplay style – we’re talking plasma pistols, projectile launchers, and grenades that keep opponents at bay.

Cecil Stedman also possesses the ability in Invincible VS to summon a limitless supply of Reanimen for backup, along with access to the massive orbital laser known only as “The Hammer.”

Invincible VS will also feature a Special, standalone narrative set in the Invincible universe as part of its Story Mode.

Robert Kirkman, co-creator of Invincible, said the following:

It was really important to me that we capture the essence of both the comic and television series, and bring key characters into the game.
