Far Cry 5 Gets New Trailers, Release Date

Far Cry 5 - Gamers Heroes
Ubisoft has revealed a wealth of information regarding its upcoming shooter Far Cry 5.

The Far Cry series comes to America in the latest installment of the franchise. Taking place in Hope County, Montana, your arrival as the new junior deputy incites the doomsday cult “Project at Eden’s Gate” to seize control of the region in a violent takeover. It is up to you to liberate this community and rise up against it as part of the Resistance.

True to the series’ form, players can freely explore Hope County. Players can fly planes to engage cult forces in aerial dogfights, and can also take control of iconic American muscle cars, big rigs, ATVs, and boats. Vehicles also provide refuge when under attack by animals.

Ranged weapons such as guns and grenades, along with melee weapons like a sledgehammer or baseball bat are both available. Players can recruit from both “Guns for Hire” (from a cast of characters) and “Fangs for Hire” (specialized animals like bears and cougars).

The Map Editor also makes a return, and will include new features.
