See what Clive Rosfield’s traveling party is truly capable of with the latest trailer for Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XVI.
Throughout one’s adventures across the continents of Valisthea, one will have a rotating party of AI-controlled companions at their side. Combat-wise, its real-time action-based battle system will feature a combination of melee and magic attacks, with dodges also at the players’ disposal. Summoned monsters – dubbed Eikons – will also have their own dedicated mechanics.

For longtime fans of the series, recurring Final Fantasy elements like galliform Chocobo, dark Eikon Ifrit, and monster types will make their appearance in Final Fantasy XVI.
The game will come out for the PlayStation 5 on June 22.
Featuring 16 characters and five stages, players will be able to get the show on the road with the Closed Network Test for Bandai Namco's TEKKEN 8 kicks off July 21.
