Forza Horizon 5 Second Developer Diary Released

Learn how the team at Playground Games and Xbox Game Studios created the realistic skies of Forza Horizon 5 with the latest developer diary for the game.

Featuring Host Charleyy Hodson, Lead Lighting Artist Lukas Koelz, Art Director Don Arceta, and Senior Lighting Artist Adan Currey, this behind-the-scenes look shows how they captured the skies and weather settings of the game. They show off the sky capture rig on location in action (which has been used since Forza Horizon 3), which is made up of three medium-format cameras. They also made use of a flat horizon for their captures, and used different weather presets compared to Forza Horizon 4.
