Fragile Existence Announced – RTS Survival Game With A Twist

Fragile Continuum and Hooded Horse today announced Fragile Existence, an upcoming science-fiction RTS survival game with an interesting twist, you’re on the run from an unrelenting, unstoppable threat as you explore the universe in search of supplies and safety.

Fragile Existence Announced – RTS Survival Game With A Twist

Stepping away from the traditional RTS survival formula of bunker down, build up, dominate, Fragile Existence instead challenges players to build their civilization as they flee through space. Players will be tasked with maintaining and controlling the mood and loyalty of crew members, as different factions look to operate as one, allied against a much larger threat. Players will be able to seamlessly zoom out from ground-based combat to commanding the vast fleet of ships that orbit the planets above. The game will also support an active pause mechanic that “lets you dropship units and buildings to the surface of moons and planets, crash space ships and ground units into physical objects, and use fleets in orbit to bombard surface targets”

As part of the publishing agreement with Hooded Horse, Fragile Existence will be localized into French, German, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese. The game is scheduled to release later this year, on Steam. For more information, check out the official Steam page.
