Earlier today I went into Gamestop and was talking with a few of the guys there. First they had me play the Infamous 2 demo, which was fantastic looking forward to that, then I asked how L.A. Noire did. Somehow we got onto the topic of Gears of War 3 and the worker said “Oh yeah we got word this morning we are getting some Lancers.” Those of you who don’t know what that is it’s the main gun in Gears of War.
The Lancer will measure about 3 and a half feet long and make noises. They tried to the Lancer look as real as possible which is nice. It will retail at 99.99 and will come in various bundles not yet announced. I assume it will come with a new 360 for an extra 50$ or something. The Lancer will come out a week before Gears of War 3(September 20th) so you can get it before hand then cosplay if you want. So anyone getting one? I plan on it and if the budget allows it I’ll try to give some away. Check back later for more news on Gears of War 3 and the Lancer.
